Yard Waste Collection - Friday

All household waste, recyclable materials and routine yard waste should be placed curbside either the night before or by 6 a.m. on your collection day. 

Bulk Waste - Collected on the 1st Monday of each month. 

Please refer to the Bulk Waste Guidelines portion for more information.

Only TWO items at a time. To ensure your items are picked up, please leave them by the curb a few days before the scheduled pickup day. Items left out too early or too late may result in violation fees.

Does not require scheduling for collection however, you can call (863) 284-4319 to schedule a pick-up or you can submit a request on the Polk Waste Wise app, available thru the Play Store on your mobile device.

Important Information from Polk County Waste & Recycling: As of May 1, 2024, recycling carts will no longer be issued. Curbside recycling collection will continue until the end of September. As of Oct. 1, 2024, curbside recycling collection will be discontinued. After Oct. 1, you may use your cart for household or yard waste, until your cart is no longer serviceable, or you may call the Solid Waste Division at (863) 284-4319 to request it be removed. 

The community clubhouse is available for rent to both residents and non-residents. Our facility is perfect for small gatherings, meetings, and craft shows, to name a few.   

We have tables and chairs available should your event need them or if all you need is an open indoor space we will gladly store them away.  The facility can accommodate 106 people and some parking spaces are available. Should the parking available not be adequate, on street parking is allowed.  

Please do not park vehicles in/on any grass areas. Rental fee for residents is $100/ non-residents $275. Hours for rental is from 10AM-10PM. Refundable deposit of $250 is due when reserving.
